We are just a ten minute drive from junction 39 M1 and ten minutes away from Wakefield city centre. It is easy to reach us by car (we have a car park adjacent to the shop) and also by public transport with Sandal Agbrigg Railway Station just a short 10 minute stroll away from us along the Sandal Curves footpath. We are also along the Trans Pennine Trail, just in case any keen walkers and cyclists out there might fancy a breather in our herb garden !

Just down the road from us – the world’s first nature reserve at Walton Hall (now The Waterton Park Hotel) the former home of the eighteenth century naturalist, explorer and pioneering conservationist Charles Waterton. There are miles of stunning walks along public footpaths through woodlands and open fields  (image courtesy Dave Land)

Just around the corner from our shop – Walton Colliery Nature Park –  an SSI, landscaped from spoil heaps over twenty years ago and a much loved haven for masses of wildlife and wild flowers

Also not forgetting the picturesque Newmillerdam Country Park – with its lakeside and woodland walks a pleasure at any time of the year and just a short ten minute drive from Walton Herbs.
